The litre DIY bow kiln is working great. Got some elm and box elder blanks drying out. I was given two trees worth of ornamental cherry rounds. I split the smaller stuff for firewood and spent the afternoon cutting bowl blanks (prepping for the ‘Rona virus shut-in) and sectioning up the mid-grade stuff for more firewood. All the tailings will be garden mulch. Have about 15 more rounds to process - next weekend. I thought it was time to get some blanks made up, in readiness for Xmas orders from the shops I supply. 65 blanks made it though the bandsaw this evening, leaving only another 80 on the workbench.
