…& as The Year of Luigi Keeps on Truckin’ & Groovin’, while I’ve been preparing concept sketches for The Three O'Clock after a couple of 12-hour work shifts followed by a nice, relaxing Christmas, I went ahead and jotted these two pictures quickly down while the idea was still fresh in my mind and thought that you guys might like to see them to get an idea of what’s coming up next.
Bowser has been going through a sort of a rough time because he has a lot on his mind ever since moving to San Francisco. And, as it turns out, he’s not only a big kid at heart (we all kind of guessed that, I think, lol), but he’s also actually really frightened about a lot of things and the possibility of everything not working out as he hopes. He also wishes he didn’t have such a terrible temper and is afraid that he’ll accidentally lose his new friends and life because of it.
And sometimes he just can’t sleep as a result.
So here we see Luigi in his pajamas and slippers reading him a children’s book version of The Beatles’ classic animated story “Yellow Submarine” to soothe him and keep him from feeling alone in his new home.
