Founder's Ball
"I hate spending this much time on Earth. I just- always feel dirty when we get home." Albel walked about the living room couch in their hotel suite. Gwenaveer, his daughter, sat before her vanity mirror in her bedroom with the door open so to better communicate. She brushed her hair and applied the modest makeup she was planning to add. 'Father, please do act like a king for a change. At the least, a founder. We are soon to take part in a ball in your honour. Might I remind you that this academy is one of your many endeavors to assure that the youth of Earth are given better opportunity. Now...' As the princess walked from her room, her pin straight blonde hair resting in the middle of her back with one section draped over her exposed shoulder. Her humble cut dress exposed one shoulder and draped just low enough to show off her necklace. Albel had himself in the dignified position that was draped face first on the couch with his head under a pillow. The princess sometimes wondered how it was that this man, her father, rebuilt a planetary empire. After a quick exchange of very convincing words had at gunpoint by Gwen, Albel retreated to his room dressed himself in a dark blue suit with a red piping on the lapels. He pins a red D to his right and heads downstairs to banquet hall. When the father/daughter pair come to the doors they are welcomed warmly by the hotel staff.
"Welcome Mr. Auslander, the Dalton Academy Founder's Ball has only just begun. You should be excited to see Blaine is here tonight. She's been quite the stir in school affairs as of late."
