But can you imagine how safe John must make Sherlock feel, he's probably, on at least some level, been terrified his entire life, at least concerning emotions, and here is this man who killed for him within 24 hours and who will protect him at all costs and Sherlock relies on no one but he relies on John and they're so easy together and John looks at him like he actually cares what he's saying and wants to be no where else than with him and then later on Sherlock falls so madly in love with John and and all of a sudden he's terrified again.
