I really dislike when people take pictures during box opening videos. It takes forever and it doesn't make a lot of sense to me. Why do you need both methods of documentation?
Why are people fascinated by box openings for naked, bald dolls with no faceup?
When you do a box opening, at least try to avoid these: Dark nail polish chipping off everywhere. Eating chips while you handle the doll. Putting the camera in your face and leave the box out of the frame (why do people do that?!). Chatter for ten minutes straight about how you had to wait and your dolly plans (do it in the description goddamnit). Mentioning how much you spent. Showing your dirty laundry in the background. IT'S SIMPLE. SO SIMPLE. It's just rude to the audience!!
I love the box openings the most about the hobby, I love reading about the stories that lead up to it, I love the pictures, and it helps pass the time before I can get my doll. I visit the box openings more than I visit the gallery. I love seeing photo-stories of doll openings and videos. I loved when someone I sold a doll to did a box opening video, it made me smile SO much!
