When he finally lets you into his world, boxer!jason asks if you can kiss his gloves for good luck. He lets you pick which hype song he uses for the night.

Boxer!jason probably won’t let you go to sleep without telling you he loves you. Don’t even start him in getting into petty arguments. He won’t let you go to bed angry or alone. You could be on opposite sides of the bed but you’ll be sharing a bed with him.

All in all boxer!jason is the most intimate guy you know. And he probably only gets more intimate the longer he’s in a relationship with you. (Which is forever because by the six month mark he’s sure you’re the one he’s meant to be with.)

Boxer!Jason who shouldn’t be thinking too hard about it but seeing you with a scrape on your knee and a bruise on your knuckles drives him feral. You just started going to roller derby again, it was something you did when you were younger but you didn’t have a lot to time for it. Until now.

Boxer!Jason who sees how well your cuts and scrapes heal and goes immediately to you for stitching or loving after he wins a pretty rough fight. He likes how attentive you are to each one of his bruises or cuts.

Boxer!Jason who most definitely has a hard on when he gets to see you in action. Just knocking people around and seeing you throw your body into the sport.

Boxer!Jason who acts like your bodyguard when someone lands an illegal hit on you. He stands from his seat in the stands and is trying to check you over from over six feet away.

Today i bring forth another boxer!Jason ask, maybe you introduce him to your friends and they can’t see past the fact he kinda looks like a brute (even tho he’s such a big softie, i truly believe this man reads romeo and Juliet while waiting to get on the ring), and so at the end of the night he’s feeling insecure cause he could see how your friends looked at him and he starts wondering if they are right and you deserve someone who’s softer and more approachable. And obviously reader shows him just how amazing he is!!

Everything goes right before the two of you get there. Thats how Jason knows something is gonna go wrong at this hang out. You told him all week that if he felt like not going, you could cancel. But he didn't want it to seem like he was blowing your friends off. So he trudged through.

He trudged through and is sitting side by side with you in a booth. And three of your friends are crowded into the other side of it. They've had a couple of drinks before you came. You weren't really in the mood to play catch up so you stick to your one while Jason goes dry because he's driving.

They have conversations about the recent news, the latest gossip, and then they ask about your life. Particularly your life with Jason. You start gushing about him, as if he isn't there, and tell them about how you met and how he treats you.

"This guy? This six foot tall, three hundred pounded brick wall?" one of them asks.

You scoff, "How he looks has nothing to do with how he treats me."

"Yeah, but doesn't he-don't you box?" another one of them asks him.

Jason clears his throat and sits up straight. But you notice it. You notice how he is trying to make himself smaller. He did it at the very beginning of your relationship, to make you less scared. You talked to him about it when the two of you got closer, and you haven't seen him do it since. Until now.

"I'm a boxer, yes. But I don't bring any of that home with me." Jason answers.

"Isn't it hard though? When you're angry? I mean who's to say you won't-" the third friend starts.

Hell. This has to stop.

"Enough." you speak.

They all look at you, at a loss for words. While it's true the four of you grew up looking like people who were afraid to tell others no, and looked like doormats, you were far from that person. Those days are over.

"I'm not gonna let you speak to him like that. He has been nothing but kind and open with me, and not that it's any of your business, but he has never laid his hands on me, or raised his voice." you say.

Then you're getting up from the booth, holding your hand out for Jason. He looks between you and your friends and then he's getting up from his seat. He takes your hand in his.

"He's my boyfriend. I want him in my life and I wanna be a part of his. So either you get that or you get lost." You put finally.

You turn around and walk right out the door with Jason. Jason who hasn't said a word yet. Jason who is holding onto your hand in a way that tells you he's not completely paying attention.

When the two of you cross the threshold of the doors, you squeeze his hand.

"Baby?" you ask him.

Jason looks at you then. Like everything is coming back into focus for him. He has a sad smile on his face.

"I'm sorry." He says.

"Don't ever be sorry for being you. If my so called 'friends' couldn't see past what you look like and what you do for a living then they don't need to be my friends." you explain to him.

Jason shakes his head, "You've known them longer than me. It's not fair that-"

"Jason Todd, I am not willing to give you up. For anyone. Ever. You got that?"

Jason lets out a small sigh. "Okay."

You let go of his hand to hold out your arms. He pouts a bit before stepping closer to you and wrapping his arms around you completely. You nuzzle into him more.

"I'll spend the rest of my life proving it to you. I hope you know that." you add on.

"Yeah?" he asks.

"I swear it." you answer.

I heard your pleas, and am therefore requesting your take on boxer jason ( i swear he lives in my mind rent free, such a gentle giant with the ability to pummel anyone who wrongs you into the ground? Amazing). Maybe he uses scary dog privileges to get someone to back off while they are giving you trouble?

Boxer!Jason x reader

gravitates towards you even though the two of you look like opposites. he's tall and big and sometimes his face doesn't look like it can hold a smile

you're the one person in the world that can prove that he can smile. the first time you met, you threw him a joke and made him smile a tiny bit. Just the tiniest bit but it was enough.

when you find out what he does for a living, you figure it makes sense. All that muscle and size has got to go towards something. him telling you he's a boxer also helps you understand why you'll see him with a black eye or a busted lip.

doesn't invite you to watch him fight at first. even before you start dating because he's scared that you'll see him in action and get nervous. Which you aren't, you actually quite like seeing him in his element.

sometimes he'd go a few days between a fight and seeing you just to not freak you out. seeing Jason with a bruised rib or moving tensely is not something you wish for.

you have to be the one to make the first move. Jason isn't going to do it. He's going to leave it up to you for the first few months of the relationship. He figures you have to get to know him and he has to get to know you.

he flushes when you the two of you first kiss. Yeah. It knocks him off his feet. No one is able to actually get a knockout against him except you!

maybe six months into dating he lets you come over after a fight. You offer to salve and stick anything but he tells you he's got it covered. He just wants you with him.

It's fun going out with Jason because he gets you in anywhere. Clubs, concerts, etc. He's got a lot of pull and if that doesn't work he just stands behind you menacingly as you talk your way in. Works like a charm every time.

Jason doesn't like putting his hands on people outside of a fight or training. He vows against it unless the situation calls for it. And even if it does it's really the last resort.

So when some random sleazily walks up to you and initiates contact with you, he waits. He waits for you to handle it. Which you do, because Jason teaches you a few tricks to get yourself out of a tough spot.

But when things take a turn and Jason knows you need help, he's right there. Like out of no where that rando is down on the floor or high tailing it out of your vicinity.

maybe about eight or nine months into the relationship, Jason asks if you wanna come see his upcoming match. Of course he's pretty nonchalant about it, so you agree. Thinking it's some underground type of stuff.

Yeah, and then the following weekend you're on a plan to Vegas because he's fighting in some big arena and it's being televised.

Jason thinks the only thing in his life worth making a big deal out of is you, so no he doesn't find the cameras and the hype around the fight more important than you.

he wins the fight -of course! and spends the rest of the weekend treating you around Vegas, amongst other things...

hear me out yall… reader who grew up with like only brothers and stuff and either beats the shit out of a guy harassing her and boxer!jason finds her OR OR!! She steps in and beats the hell out of a guy like TWICE the reader’s size that was messing with him.. I’m gonna be HIS knight and shining armour rhats my little princess right there.

boxer!Jason probably starts barking when you do things like this. He's hot. He's bothered. Gotta get you alone right after because someone defending his honor makes his heart go brrrr.

if you had brothers I would like to say they taught you some defensive moves and such. So much that when boxer!Jason offers to teach you, you kinda laugh it off. He doesn't understand why until...

The first time it happens boxer!Jason doesn't really compute what's happening. He doesn't have a good enough reaction time to stop it from happening. He just watches as you deck some man a few inches above you. THEN he drags you away to safety.

But after that he figures that you both get scary dog privileges. You more so than him because he knows that his punches can really send someone to the hospital if he put all his weight into it. And your punches will send someone to a therapist looking for answers.

Boxer Jason who finally lets reader go to his match!! Reader being the ultimate #1 fan during the match and maybe a cute after the match encounter? It would mean a lot if you have any writing time for this!!!

It's a pretty normal match but boxer!Jason feels like it's so much more than that. It's the first match that your'e sitting there watching him. You're not front row, he told you how it could get a bit brutal watching from unclose.

So you took the third row. That's where you'll be.

boxer!Jason lets out a sigh as Alfred knocks on the door and tells him it's time together out there. He can hear the announcer introducing his standings and information.

The punch lands. boxer!Jason takes a step back and watches as his opponent struggles a bit. The ref cuts in when his opponent drops to one of his knees. The ref talking in his ear, ask him if he wants to quit.

You yell and boxer!Jason turns around. His eyes scan the crowd until he finds you. Third row. Seat 4. You're standing with a big smile on your face. It makes him smile too.

Probably not a good look to be smiling. boxer!Jason doesn't care right now. Not when you're standing there waving at him. You're dressed in pretty normal clothes, wanting to be comfortable and not wanting to show off.

The bell rings and boxer!Jason turns back around to the ref and his opponent. But his opponent is in the corner of the ring and the ref is coming boxer!Jason's way.

The ref grabs Jason's gloved hand and raises it over his head.

"Winner!" the ref shouts.

The crowd erupts into applause and loud shouting. From his corner, his brother Dick, and his training partner, Roy, come rushing in. Roy puts boxer!Jason on his shoulders as someone hands him the new shiny white and gold belt.

boxer!Jason looks for you, he finds you running up to his corner and standing with Alfred.

boxer!Jason closes his locker, his head hanging low. The adrenaline crash he always feels. The winning is a good feeling. But it doesn't last long.

"Hey there champ," you say.

boxer!Jason picks his head. You're standing there at the threshold of the door, your body leaning against it. Your arms are behind your back. boxer!Jason is thinking a lot of thoughts now. That winning adrenaline has nothin on you.

"Come to congratulate me?" He asks.

You nod your head, "and something else."

"What else could-"

You pull your arms from behind you, and the single of keys gets his attention, "Wanna take a drive?"

"But you didn't drive here, I did. I have my keys in my bag." boxer!Jason answers.

You walk right up to him and show off the keys. Ferrari insignia. You didn't drive a Ferrari. Unless somehow between him winning and coming into the locker room to change you went and brought a Ferrari.

"Your brother said we could borrow it." you say.

boxer!Jason smiles and wraps his arms around your middle, "Where are we headed?"

"Well, I was thinking we could use it for...other purposes first." you whisper.

boxer!Jason's eyes go wide. He lets out something between a grunt and a hum and then he's letting you drag him out the locker room and down the hallway to the garage.
