Yelena tries to attend Tweek’s tournaments and when he wins, he always goes to his grandma. After that Tweek v. Craig, she hears from her daughter that Tweek is in the hospital and got into a fight.
It’s a side by side parallel to her first husband [Helen’s father] who was a known boxer. He’s Scottish and when he wins, he looks for her, running up to her bruised and bloody and says a cheesy line with a crooked smile. I looked up a term for “funny guy” or “comedian” in 1930s slang and got “gasser”.
Yelena really softens her hardened exterior when she sees a bit of the traits in Tweek. Or possibly it’s the guilt of being an absent and emotionally distant mother to Helen so she compensates by showing up for Tweek.
At one point, Richard needs Helen to accompany him for work (when Tweak Bros expands and becomes shareholders to Harbucks in that one episode (free hat) I think) so Tweek would go to his tournaments not expecting his parents to show up until he sees his grandma, Yelena. He feels happy.

In google Zirochka is “little star” and babusia is a variant term for grandmother.
