Repost from @darustrong_performance_gym • @danieletoretto first day assessments for upcoming fight on @daznboxing looking at movement strategies (compensators) lower body explosiveness, aerobic power, and muscle endurance for upper body. 🥊🇮🇹 This is our first official meetup I wanted to get some baseline numbers to evaluate and have a reference to look back on after these next 6 weeks. Today we went with looking at his general to specific movement, then into jump heights off a jump mat for both countermovement and non-countermovement with bilateral and split stance. Then into a max aerobic power test on the echo bike which I was impressed with. 5 minutes later did a 10 seconds max burst to see max watts. Finishing with a seal row at 50% BW for as many reps as possible. All of these numbers will then give us an indication of readiness and allow for further data to showcase progression. This day will be followed by day 2 of testing where we will do a Moxy (NIRS) test for rate limiters, max force production (iso pull), and upper body power test.
