I’m not going to ignore him if he tries to talk to me. I couldn’t do that to him. But… at the same time… I know he’s not “himself” right now. And I’d hate for him to hurt me and say something awful that he’ll regret later. I don’t know how he’s talking to everyone else… but I know that he hated this version of himself. And he’ll probably feel a ton of guilt later about how he’s acting right now. So… I think the best thing to do is just keep him at arm’s length right now. That way neither of us will be hurt.
It’s not his fault he got reverted like this. If I can lessen whatever guilt he’ll feel later by detaching myself… then that’s what I’ll do.
