basically everything is the same except when boy ran away, june followed him into the jungle. June somehow gets stuck (fell into a hole?) so boy left to get help => june kidnapped by shaman, which puts him under more pressure and guilt, turning him into Hilda's perfect soldier - calculating, cold, stoic shell of a once hopeful boy.

I have a thing for hand sizes dont even...😭 but yeah sometimes basho forgets boy is built like a wall bc of his puppy attitude.. do u think basho can sing?? Im thinking of boy playing piano and basho singing along (even tho his off key like 60% of the time sksksk)

What if benny is super good at piano? Another motivation for basho to learn piano bc boy keeps complimenting benny's skills instead of him 😔
