My Boyfriends logic

So I got extremely sick one weekend and I was going to miss my friends 21st birthday party, this is my boyfriends way of comforting me and telling me there was a reason for why i got sick:

Me: I am sad though because of this i can’t be with my friends tomorrow night!

Boyfriend: Well maybe it was all for the best. Maybe God didn't want you to go because if you did you would have been attacked by a group of bears!
