In case no one has told you today, you are a very handsome boy <3
Psst....Psssssssst. All men are awesome and handsome pass it on
I just found your bodypositivity blog for boy's and i honestly think that it's amazing that you acknowledged the lack of bodypositivity stuff for boys! My boyfriend used to weigh more than he does now but he was never overweight, but still he has strechmarks on his hips and thighs and i keep telling him how beautiful they are and that they're lovely little patterns that drape his overall beautiful body. He will probably never hear that from anybody else bc it's not being acknowledged. Thank you!
Well I’m super glad to hear that, and I’m also glad to tell you that I’m not the only one! As soon as I started this account and added tags to my posts, I found that on my recommended follow list, boy body positivity posts began to become more and more apparent! I feel as though it’s only when you join something to try and help - or just to do something towards a passion - that you start to find others just like you, which is super awesome. I personally adore stretch marks, and I’m happy to hear you do too, and hopefully It will begin to be acknowledged as something just as adorable and common as freckles :3 Thank you so much for being my first inbox message and making me so happy and determined to keep running this page! Lots of love for you and your boyfriend! -Ren x
BOY-SPECIFIC BODY POSITIVITY BLOG
Right guys I now am running a body positivity blog, but the posts are specific to boys.
Why? Boys have always faced just as much expectation from the media as girls, yet less is said or posted to increase their body positivity and also because they're expected to hold emotions in, they become self-conscious and unhappy with their body and go without help and/or reassurance.
I want to change that. That's why I've created @thekandom . Named after a good friend, it will also post pictures of friends of mine who I believe need a confidence boost and wouldn't mind if I posted their faces online, as I'm aware some people would be uncomfortable. I will also take requests to post pictures (as long as I have evidence that they'd be okay with it) along with a caption including your view on why they deserve more confidence and why I think they deserve it too!!
I have had enough of seeing my boy friends upset with their bodies but having to keep it in, it's time to change that, one step at a time. So follow me and reblog this to help me spread body positivity to men who need it! @thekandom
