Boys’ haircut trends for 2019
We like to keep up to date with the latest predictions for hair trends, especially where our young customers are concerned, so we can always to our best to give you the look you’re after. A couple of years ago, it was the Meet Me At McDonald’s style that took us all by surprise, so we’re wondering what this year has in store for us!

Fades:
A very popular way to cut the hair around the back and sides, the length is tapered to give a fading effect further down the head. Having a design cut into your fade is a trend that looks set to continue into 2019, and you can have this done in some of our Shortcuts salons (but do check before you book, to find out if your stylist can help).
Short Haircuts:
Keeping it short around the back and sides with a slight fade, you can sweep the hair on top into a smooth, neat, and cute style, and you can add some shaping and volume with a little styling paste.
Long on top:
With a fade around the back and sides, you can keep the hair on the top slightly longer, and style it for different looks – combovers, spikes, curls, slickbacks and pompadours, and fauxhawks. There’s so much you can do with longer length.
