25 Days of Christmas Fic - Day 11: Eggnog
"N-No, no, Jen... you don't understand," Janet slurred, her sixth cup of eggnog clutched tightly in her hand as she leaned against her friend. "If I had--if I had your confidence, I would..... I would sleep with everyone."
Jen raised a brow at the obviously smashed Janet Van Dyne. She was on her own fifth or sixth cup of eggnog, but it wasn't affecting her nearly as fast as it was affecting Jan.
"Everyone? Like, all of the Avengers?"
"Hell yes!" Janet giggled. "All of them. Every....single....one." With each word she prodded Jen in the chest. Then she gave a heavy, sorrowful sigh and sagged against Jen's arm.
"But I can't."
"Because Hank?"
"Yeah," Janet pouted. "Cuz that'd.. that'd be cheating."
Jen took a sip of her eggnog. "Then why don't you ask him about having a threesome? That way it wouldn't be cheating."
Janet looked up at Jen, her eyes wide as dinner plates, as though Jen had just taught her the secret to the universe.
"Omigod," she breathed. "Omigod. I could!!" With a squeal, she ran off , heading toward the other side of the room, where Hank was in the middle of a conversation with Tony.
Jen watched and knew that Janet had shared her idea with Hank when she saw his face drain of color and his eyes nearly pop out of his sockets. She nearly bent double with laughter, and it took her a good two minutes to recover. For the rest of the party, she made sure to glance in Hank's direction every so often, and she burst into a new round of giggling when she saw that he still had yet to recover.
What made it even better was that, if what Janet had told her was true, he would probably come around to the idea sooner or later.
