Every single day is an opportunity to help others in dire need. It doesn't take an organized event to volunteer at to find people in need and provide assistance. In fact the #homeless need help everyday. It doesn't have to be anything spectacular. It can be something small. Pack some extra clothing you want to give away in your car. Or some hygiene items, fruit, granola bars or bottled water. Anything at all. Then when you spot someone in need you can pull over and help them out. Sometimes even just positive words and letting people know you care for them is great in itself and can uplift someone who feels hopeless.
