October and Hiatus Update
As soon as we resumed from our summer hiatus, the characters got very busy. There has been so much drama these past few months and it will be very difficult for the Estate and it's residents to recover.
Beginning our return, Robert Felps was attacked on his motorcycle whilst riding outside the Estate boundaries. He wasn't able to see much of his attacker, and thank goodness Quinn Gerade turned up to drag him from underneath his wreckage just in time. She'd returned from the entire summer away, trying to hide her own secrets. When she couldn't take him any far enough to seek help, she called Lunaria for help and eventually left the witch to deal with Robert. She didn't care if he lived or died, because she couldn't, but Lunaria and Robert had always had an unbreakable bond. A love affair that neither could shake.
As time went on, it became known that Quinn had given away her emotions to a stray witch, after attempting to take her own life. It couldn't have come at a worse time, because the person she'd loved so painfully, Justin Kiser, finally admitted how he felt for her. It had taken him years to say the words to her, but it was a bitter sweet reunion. He convinced her to see Archie Spencer, the resident genius boy, to help her regain her feelings. He tried many different methods to try and help her but it was to no avail.
During her time as an emotionless shell, she and Robert got into a fight over their previous affair, which of course could have only ended in Justin finding out and seeking out the Incubus Robert, threatening his life if he were to go near Quinn again. Robert didn't take too kindly to this, running straight to Melody Berry and reporting him. But when she didn't take him seriously, Robert made a threat to expose the Estate, and by doing so, harm Maisie's life. Melody couldn't stand to see her daughter brought into such things, and called Justin, knowing of their distaste for one another. She hired the Werewolf to kill Robert Felps, and had no trouble doing so. Their own closed door meetings had been going on throughout the summer, only ending when each of them wanted to get back to their lives.
Unfortunately for Justin, while their discussion was taking place, the Hunter Maya was unknowingly doing her part in the plan, accidentally killing Robert after he attempted to force himself on her- at least, that's what she's convinced herself of. He'd already attempted suicide recently, being saved by the Mermaid Alana and one other being, it was sad that this time he actually didn't want to die.. At least Justin managed to have his fun in helping her clear out Robert's things, only to find out that he was leaving already, and left a note for Quinn.
Quinn received his letter, and after finding out about his death from Justin's own lips, endured the painful restoration of her emotions. The two have rekindled their love, but it never lasts long for them. We still don't know how Lunaria will react to the Incubi's disappearance, or his death if she finds out. His body was buried on the grounds, and anybody could be a suspect.
In some happier news, Melody's little sister Samantha was gifted with her own apartment, bring the two sisters closer after having spent their loves apart and completely unaware of each other. They're both trying hard to be better with one another, but it will take time. As will the relationship between Melody and Archie.. the two did some very uncharacteristic things and slept together, then got high together, all in the same few weeks. Their relationship, although still strained, it getting much better. For the sake of their daughter Maisie, let's hope it continues to improve. It doesn't help that Mel's aunt Alice has returned to remind her of her past.. All the mistakes she made had been in some way a result of the way her Aunt left her, and we can't imagine that she won't make more now that she's back.
There’s still no news from Zevella, and it seems that her olf Familiar Belle is still coming to terms with the lose of her friend and owner. As it is, new arrivals have been scarce over the past few months, but along with Alicia, a new werewolf by the name of Zane has arrived with an infant god daughter. Maisie has already taken a liking to the baby girl, let's hope everyone gets along and there will be no more deaths.
