Today we visited a county north-east of Bordeaux to visit Braastad Cognac, a Norwegian-French cognac producer, and have a tour through the place. Fascinating stories, and samples of a 50yo cognac, and “Crēme Liqueur Au Cognac”, a kind of Baileys made from cognac instead. Can recommend! Some of the huge barrels contain 100yo cognac! After this we had dinner (and wine and more cognac ofc) at Chateau Triac, the Braastad family’s castle! Delicious food and a beautiful resident with horses and a swimming pool.
