I pretty much feel the same!! Like I just can’t imagine elves having sex for some reason?? Yes I like this thought
Well, we know they have sex at some point (since they have kids and all), as well as Tolkien says they enjoy sex just fine while they're in that phase, but for the most part, I imagine you really don't see elves being sexual beings and I really like that aspect of them! And it's not that I won't set that aside sometimes, but in general... yeah, I have a really hard time seeing elves express a sexual interest in anything.

That actually sounds a bit like Vulcans in Star Trek lol
I wouldn't be surprised if Vulcans were influenced by Tolkien's elves, just as SO MUCH of modern views on elves was shaped by Tolkien. Of course, Tolkien's work is heavily influenced by Norse mythology, too, so who knows where one influence ends and another begins!
