i adore the amount of semi-serious conversation that gets turned into huge characterization things

Like i firmly believe that so many of these little things are, at least in part, just the actors talking to eachother - “you can just say he’s your friend” is straight up just Lou talking to murph/maxwell

and then we all take that and RUN

because they fit so perfectly with Monty’s history and Maxwell’s characterization and their dynamics with eachother and all the characters around them

This is the first d20 season I’ve watched the full way through as it released - the only other one I’ve started when it came out was never stop blowing up, and i stopped watching that one after a bit (purely because busy)

Super behind on episodes of Cloudward Ho, but I adore how desperately Brennan tries to create tension and seeds of doubt and the pcs immediately go “got it- hey guys guess what I just learned-“ and derail it into bonding moments
