One of the (many) reasons I do these poses is to force myself to draw the same character in a variety of different storytelling poses from different angles. I try to do a front, a quarter-front, and a profile view for each of them. For Arwen, I wasn't sure what I wanted the profile view to be initially, but then I thought it would be an interesting challenge to draw an elf sitting down. I figured Arwen would sometimes take off the wreath and wrap her braids around her horns instead.
