Daughter of a Stroke Survivor
Life goes on. Life keeps moving. It never stops, no matter how many times I wish for the hands of the clock to halt and give me time to understand what exactly is happening. My dad had a stroke in April and is paralyzed from the neck down. I realized that no one in my circle of friends can relate and understand my feelings. I look for support groups for other children of stroke survivors and there isn’t any. I don’t have the strength to start one and I could really use a friend who understands. I don’t know how to heal on my own, and I feel as though my wounds from those won't close.
I would really be grateful if any of you could share your stories with me and help me through these rough times.
Roller coaster of my life
Please pray for my Dad. He had a brain stem stroke and is paralyzed from the neck down. He can only communicate through blinking. It has been 3 weeks from the start of this new life. Please Help
My family has gone through a lot during the past few weeks. But, to keep the long story short my dad suffered a brain stem stroke. He is currently paralyzed from the neck down, and can only communicate through blinking. He is going to need a lot of rehabilitation to regain motor functions, and unfortunately it requires more money then my family can make in a year. After weeks of discussion and debate my mother and I decided to start a Go Fund Me. If you can give anything, it would be greatly appreciated. If not please, please, please pray.
I have seen this community help so many people, and I would not be asking for help unless I absolutely needed it. With all the new medical expenses my family will be struggling to put dinner on the table, and I know people can not afford to help. If that is the case, all I would like is your prayer for my family and to share our campaign.
