guys you dont get it. ive been yearning for a bh6 event but i was like “whaaat no way its happening.. who even likes bh6 aside from me anyways. a gal can dream” but its REAL..? fun fact i once had a brief fixation on big hero 6 (watched the movie and spinoffs) lol. im really curious how the event is gonna go now.. i really wanted it to be shroudbros centric but thats too easy i guess..? and tbf their story already has a lot of parallels to bh6.. i wonder if theyre gonna make the cast do robotics that would be funny asf none of those people are tech smart 😭 baymax is going to be canon to twst and if he doesnt interact with ortho then i will take matters into my own hands

every now and then i just think about riddle and idia and go "man. they just wanted to be normal kids." and they deserved to be normal kids i wish nothing but happiness for them but nope because the curse (literal + the curse of mother issues) warning that i may be projecting in some parts and im writing this while being pretty tired so have mercy on me
i think about how the closest the shroudbros probably ever felt to being normal kids was when they were with eachother. they had to grow up with no one else their age, a suffocating environment and absent parents due to their work, and in idia's case the responsibility and pressure of being the child genius whos going to be next in charge of styx. but they didnt have to worry about any of that with eachother to some degree because they could just have fun and play games and whatever.
i think about how the only escape riddle got from being worked to the bone and controlled like a doll was for a short period of time with trey and cheyna. it was literally the only time he ever got to do anything of his own accord or learn how the world actually worked beyond a textbook. he got to play and try that tart and something that normal is so so significant to him. i feel like riddle and idia and similar in the sense that both of their stories have themes of agency and having your life decided for you before you could even remember. different cases of course and i think they respond in very different ways but they both didnt really get to be proper kids. from my perspective being at nrc is probably the most free theyve ever gotten to be which is ironic because for normal people school is prison but for them its one of the only places they even have the chance to do like. anything. i dont know man i can relate to both of them and they make me want to spontaneously combust
i feel like i never really talk about floyd even though i actually like him a lot. like sure even just on a surface level he's a very entertaining character but i think my favourite thing about him is that he can be really sincere (unsure if thats the right word for it tbh) sometimes? i love when we see that he's good with kids or him being more caring towards other cast members in a very floyd way (like noticing that azul hasn't been eating properly ("i dont care about azul we aren't friends" my ass. floyd leech you are a liar and a fraud), or when he notices riddle restricting his food intake as well and trying to encourage riddle to eat more freely in one of the halloween events? i think?) floyd is very far from stupid, i think he's actually really perceptive and as a result we can get moments like these and i just find them really endearing and it makes me like him a lot.

honestly i really love the trope of robots wanting to become human in general and i think it makes for a really good trans allegory. yes ortho included. especially ortho. ortho is the type of character to me where if you say hes trans im gonna nod along and be like yes so true it doesnt even matter in what direction
