Meliodas should be a sap
I don't even know what that means, but it's used when something's overly romantic it borders on sickly happens and I think he should be that, like
look at his face
he's so terribly in love. so lost in this swamp of feelings and all. he should be an overly romantic suitor, should be an incessant flirt
Elizabeth shouldn't be able to give him an inch of approval without him using and abusing that inch. they would greet each other in the morning, she would ask how he was doing and he'd look her in the eye, wouldn't even breathe, "Much better now :)"
when being presented with the tavern uniform he should have looked her and us and Hawk in the face and said "Now aren't you a sight for sore eyes?" or whatever it is that the british say when they flirt. it's eating time and he's spoon feeding her (because she's a princess, she deserves no less) and telling her jokes to distract her from the terrible taste. and when a good cook enters the house, he keeps bothering him to make her favorite dishes. and going out of his way to make her comfortable and enjoying her stay and being such a good husb- ahem, knight.
it should be so.
so that when he's on his knees at her feet, resting his head in her lap and pleading for her to console him because his friends are mean to him, we would go oh you lil bastard that's what you were about aren't you very very happy
anyways, I think we all deserved to be a lil more feral about meliodas courting of Elizabeth. the man himself included.
