You know I really didn’t think so at first but the more I think about it …. maybe pregnancy is the next step. Now, this could be the ramblings of a distressed Brallie fan but here me out:
Do we all agree that the whole Mexico thing was out of the fucking blue? That was weird. I mean, yay for spending time together but to duel that with a ‘someone in the house is pregnant’ storyline could be a red flag. Maybe they needed Brallie to run off together (doing some bullshit thing like iunno hang-gliding) in order for Stef and Lena to assume Callie is pregnant with Brandons baby. To put that in the audiences head that even though the Mothers consider them to be ‘siblings’ that they aren’t and that happening wouldn’t be out of the realm of possibility. Mariana saying ‘Hold up, Callie is pregnant with Brandon’s baby?’ is something I never thought the show would even say, let alone allude to or joke about however they did… I mean, at the time that was easily impossible cause they never had sex, until … they had sex. Which brings me to my next point …
WHY WOULD THE WRITERS HAVE BRANDON AND CALLIE HAVE SEX? The writers knew they were going to have Callie adopted in 3x10 so why have Brandon and Callie have sex in 3x09. I don’t know after what point does a writer decide to do something but Brandon and Callie were over for all of season 2 going into season 3. They were brought back! Full force right before her adoption. Why? Wouldn’t it have been more comfortable to have kept everything the way it was? Assuming they brought back Brallie to ‘end it’, would sex really be a way of ending them? Is sex closure? Is Callie having her first real time with the guy she loves just a way of ending Brallie with a fuck? Like, three seasons of their relationship was built up just for them to fuck once and be siblings. I’m sorry but Brallie is more than that. Brallie had sex for a reason. Because they love each other but to ultimately fuck shit up in 3B.
The Sex Talk with Jude could also be foreshadowing as well. Lena talking about how physically intimacy with someone is a beautiful thing right after Brallie had sex. This could just be a talk with Jude but Foster storylines tend to inter lap and connect. Maybe Brandon and Callie are the ones who needed to hear that talk. Maybe Brandon and Callie are the ones who don’t know what a condom is cause I highly doubt they used one.
Look, this is probably not going to happen in the beginning of 3B. Like, they both do their own thing. She works on her app/becoming an activist. He’s learning to play with that dope looping pedal thingy. Being kids. Being apart.
THEN BAM SHE THROWS UP AND ALL HELL BREAKS LOOSE. I SEE IT. well, that or Brallie is over for good iunno.
