#branch needs therapy

I feel like if Branch was the one captured he would be preeeetty gray throughout his time in there, his brothers never came back for him at the Troll Tree, why would they now? (I kinda wanna try writing a whole story of it out so please let me know if anyone would want that!!)

Mostly made this sketch as an excuse for testing out pen settings and sensitivities after asking about @hey-hey-j’s style (I use procreate so I kinda had to just looked at the sensitivity and fading aspects and found stuff I liked based off of that), please check their stuff out if you haven’t it is so amazing!!!

Still have that alternate plot on the mind, and wanted to expand a bit on how I personally think it would’ve went:

The story is all the same in the beginning but a messenger interrupts the wedding instead of JD, inviting Poppy to an "award ceremony" for saving music from the Rockapocalypse

Poppy and Branch go to Mount Rageous (after the wedding ofc) to get Poppy's award, where the two walk right into a trap set by the twins

Before the trap can fall on top of Poppy to trap her, Branch dives in and pushes her out of the way trapping himself instead

Velvet, Veneer, and Crimp all walk in to see a trapped Branch in the diamond bottle. The twins don't know who he is but Crimp is a BIG Brozone fan and recognizes Bitty B, better than just a princess of pop in the twin's eyes, and takes him away.

Crimp hears sniffling after the twins leave and find a hidden Poppy who just lost her boyfriend and she has no clue how to get him back. Thankfully Crimp knows that the perfect family harmony would shatter diamonds and advises her to find his brothers (who she didn't even know existed until seconds ago

Poppy reaches out to Queen Barb for desperate help, along with all the other kingdoms to find the brothers, Barb immediately recognizes that Floyd is in the Rock kingdom and sends him to Pop village to join Poppy.

The two then travel to the other kingdoms and distant lands to try and find the other brothers and save Branch before it's too late

I promise I'm not ignoring you guys!!! I am over the moon with how many people are excited by my art ;-; I am so sorry I haven't been posting as much as I have wanted, I recently went back to school so I have been a bit busier than I thought I would be, but I do plan to make more art (and possibly stories????) for you guys so please let me know if there is anything you want to see!
