How things change: a makeup (r)evolution
JAN 2014
The most high end item I had in my makeup bag was Estée Lauder’s Double Wear. Oh, and a single (lonely) MAC eyeshadow. Didn’t know about contouring and highlighting; hardly ever wore blush. Makeup brushes were a motley crew of different brands and generally cheap.
JAN 2015
- On my face I use Estée Lauder, Bobbi Brown, Laura Mercier and/or Dior concealers and foundations;
- On my cheeks I use NARS and Bobbi Brown for blush, bronzer & contour powders;
- I highlight the key areas of my face with Kevyn Aucoin;
- On my eyes I use Artist of Makeup & Prestige for eyeliners and Urban Decay palettes for eyeshadows;
- On my eyebrows I use Anastasia Beverly Hills for extra definition;
- On my lips I use MAC, Lancôme & Buxom lip products;
- And nearly all my cosmetic brushes are exclusively Urban Decay now.
How the times have changed me and my makeup bag!
