Brenden Fraser and Chris O' Donnell
In 1997 I was only 3 years old and already latched onto the beauty of TV, during that same year came out one of my all time favourite Brendan Fraser movies; George of the Jungle. I could near quote this movie backwards due to the amount of times I watched it. Now 25 years later..it's time to settle down with something from my early childhood. One thing I liked about Disney end of 90s movies is none of them seemed to take themselves seriously, they just seemed to have thrown colour into the wind and went "yep, that's our story." And just birthed so many random family movies. How did my dumb ass not realise that this is basically a take on Tarzan!? Expect George is a lot more human compared to Tarzan. Is it wrong that ever since I've seen Thomas Haden Church as Lyle in this movie, I've hated him? Like no matter what role his playing, good guy or the "just there" guy, I can't unpicture him as the bad guy and refuse to see as anything other than a bad guy character. I don't know how much of this was practical and how much was computerised effects but it was hard to tell at times, there is a couple of scenes that show the slight glow of a green screen but since it's set in the jungle, you can't really tell a huge difference. I love how everyone nowadays gets mad at guys dressing feminine, I'm sorry..did y'all get angry at George of the Jungle for wearing feminine clothing!? Highly doubt it. But like damn..if only I looked half as good as George of the Jungle in a dress. Aww! That's such a cute story. I can understand why people listed over George Jungle. But also..when you realise that George was into beastality before Ursula came along..so..uh..I need to burn that image from my memory now. #georgeofthejungle #brandonfraser https://www.instagram.com/p/CotNDYXPO1A/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
