FINISHED!! I'm completely in love with these. They were inspired by some ancient earrings from 2-3 B.C. (top left pic) I don't know much about where they were from, only that they are on display in the Archaeological Museum of Istanbul. I wonder who made them, who they were for, who wore them. Were they commissioned? A trade? It's a mystery and it fascinates me. So I took that inspiration and created these earrings. They're made of over 50 inches of antique brass chain, 110 tiny tear drops (brass, not cried), matte gold plated chain at the top, and antique brass lever back ear wires.
