#Repost @ale.aboard Belgian Blonde Ale + Super Old Stuff + Super New Stuff Built Like Super Old Stuff! 🇫🇷 I'm drinking a beer from the village of Cajarc in the southwest of France. The first couple of pictures are at a site called Super-Cayrou, and it is fairly new and serves as a shelter for passersby on the St. James Way. You can rest here and get out of the rain (like I did), or it's a great spot for laying out a sleeping bag! It's built like a super old structure that has fallen down nearby. If you ⬅️SWIPE⬅️ to the last picture, this is with one of the Dolmen. It's a monument erected by the ancient people of this area around 4,000-5,000 years ago. Just like Stonehenge, it is a mystery how these people were able to lift such heavy rocks (estimated at about 7 tons). You can see that some supports have been added inside this one as others in the area have collapsed.
