Bc North Miami (Cattleya loddigesii x Brassavola nodosa) is putting on a show! This is a seedling, not a clone, so it’s really cool to finally get to see how it looks!

This seedling has more influence from C. loddigesii than I’ve seen in this cross. It’s pretty neat!

I’m very busy moving houses so please enjoy this bc Yellow bird’s first bloom in my care in the meantime (it was blooming size but out of bloom when I bought it last year).

I’m glad it has the speckles on the lip. Some of them don’t.

Oh man guys it’s happening!! Bc Rustic Spots ‘H&R’ rebloomed for me!! This is one of my favorite orchid flowers and I am just chuffed to absolute bits. It’s so vivid, so speckled, so straight-up gorgeous. My camera roll is destroyed. And it gave me two flowers this year! What a great little plant.

I got a Brassocattleya Hamlyn’s Magic! This variety has extremely variable flowers between plants ranging from yellows to oranges to pinks to reds. I really like this little pink flower with a yellow spotted lip, so I snapped this little guy right up.

It smells good, too.

New plant! It’s a brassavola hybrid called “Yellow Bird”. I think I see a spike forming!
