Forgot to add these yesterday! My brass rubbings from Orford church grave stones from inside the church. I borrowed some kids supplies to do this, hehe. First we have a choir of people in prayer I imagine, then an angel that's a little hard to see, and last a saints head. Brassrubbing by ausfi https://flic.kr/p/3zs6PF My mother is doing some brassrubbing so I can take a photo. I did several rubbings in Cambridge and in London. That was before special brassrubbing centers. This brass is more modern than usual, from 1840. Situated in Gonville & Caius. Dr. Davy standing beneath classical arch. I gave it away later, as it was too huge for my room. Dr. , Rev. Martin Davy, DD, from 1803 master of Gonville& Caius for 30 years, ; Rector of Cottenham in Cambridgeshire, a prependary of Chichester, F.R.S and F.S.A, d. 1839. Trinity Hall had a wonderful brass, a man wearing a stole with the 12 apostles on it, Christ on the breast; Walter Hewke with 12 apostles, 1510. I have only photos left of it. The rubbing was glued on a board in Finland, under pressure. I should not have let them do it, gradually the edges started getting unglued and breaking.
