I’m gonna be complete honest, I’ve been a FNAF fan since the trailers of the second game released. But I’ve never been in the fandom so I genuinely don’t know how people tend to interpret the characters, just bits and pieces 😭 Someone explain

yeah michael definitely talks like That because growing up he had no friends, and was only around Henry and William, the two most melodramatic men in the state.
ITS MICHAEL!!!!!!!! [ACTUALLY!!!]
winter 1983s idk shto
Thinking about the following years after the bite, Elizabeth gleefully taking on the role of caretaker for her brother. Feeling powerless as a child, always beholden to the "men" of the household, happy to have some semblance of power in the ways she can make herself useful. Her general unease around Michael fading whenever he slips into these near-catatonic like states of dissociation. Feeling more confident around him when he stops being a "grown-up" to her— something large, scary and unpredictable— and becomes a baby doll. Something to comfort, to soothe, to care for and look after. Finding a sense of purpose in it, the same way Michael finds purpose and distraction in caring for her.
Parroting back the same phrases he uses to comfort her whenever she's scared, taking pride in sounding so mature. Wriggling her way into his arms so she can sit on his lap. Pulling them around her, happy to be what he clings to for comfort. Grabbing his hand to pat her head and caress her cheek, used to having to poke and prod for affection out of a brother too frightened to touch her. Nuzzling her head into his chest to feel his quickened heartbeat. Not caring that he's sweaty and feverish, just wanting to feel warm. Happy to be the presence of something undeniably alive in a house so cold and dead.
Feeling disappointed when things return to normal. When she's back to being the "baby" of the family. Back to wandering halls alone, kept waiting for the father and brother always behind closed doors. Kept in the dark to preserve an innocence that's far from blissful. Hiding the danger didn't make her unaware of it, it meant that the danger was always there. Always lingering behind corners or hiding in shadows, having the potential to strike at any time. It meant not knowing who she should run from and not knowing who to run to. It meant always running and hiding but never knowing when to stop when no where feels safe.
Feeling frustrated by Michael's attempts to fufill father's role when he's not around. How can she know he's her brother, when he seems to think of himself as her father? How can she understand that he's a child like her, when he's always pretending to be an adult? Why can't he see that he isn't supposed to take care of her, but that they're meant to take care of each other? That she just wants a peer, and not another grown-up to be at the mercy of? Why does he think this will make her happy when all she ever wanted him to be was her brother?
he-oh ourple!
(ooc/ why tf did I say he-oh I'm not a teletubby)
hey... Did ya need something?
Kinda crazy how people don't interpret Michael as being insanely cynical and disrespectful and self absorbed and mean. Cus I think he's really only silly and goofy 5% of the time. He's frowning and being a huge bitch!!!
