Ahsoka beamed at him, showing off her fangs and wrapping her arms around his chest to engulf him in a hug that would be bonecrushing, were he not a Jedi. Her Master was one of the most important people in her life. She rested her cheek against heart to listen to how it was beating. “That’s so nice to hear, Master. You’re something like a brother to me too.” 

It was hard to explain, the dynamic between them. A bond between a Master and a Padawan was complex. It was unconditional loyalty and affection mixed with the necessary reverence. Anakin was more experienced after all and was the one who thaught her, the less experienced. Ahsoka pitied those who were not force-sensitive and not training to be a Jedi, because they would never feel such a connection, amplified by the force, with someone.
