Prepping for some coaching and discipleship today. I’m fallen, broken and weak but Christ rejoices I’m using the least, the foolish, the lame, the weak, the unworthy. WHO DOES THAT?!? Have you ever just paused on that aspect of His character and just wept. Been in awe. He rejoices in taking the foolish things of this world to upend the wise. Amazing. That means 2 things (at least): 1. I can’t boast in whatever fruit comes from my coaching because my weakness cancels me out of the equation when it comes to the true source of the fruit 2. It gives me great freedom to be where I am, in a place of weakness, so that when He uses me in His work I can nestle and rest in His hand with my heart and farce turned to Him in trust and awe... just watching Him use the vessel of my unique design and unique life to do whatever He wants. It is a terrifying thing to fall into the hands of the living God and the greatest, most harrowing adventure of my life.
