So I imagine that as SQH increases in value to MBJ, MBJ just like starts leaving robes and what not in the An Ding colors. SQH is like yay, free shit, like any good millennial. QQQ is peeved because SQH is like saying not to increases in clothing budgets or whatever and decides she’s going to audit the books. She looks everywhere but SQH hasn’t spent money on clothes in years.

She’s like is he taking bribes and investigates that but while she finds shady dealings, none are associated with SQH. QQQ is going slowly insane, because she cannot unravel the mystery and all SQQ will do is flutter his fan and mic drop “sugar daddy”.

au where mbj freak proposes, and sqh the proceeds to seclude himself for a concerningly long time, making mobei jun think he's been rejected, and being *very* butthurt abt this cowardice, only for sqh to show up, like, four months later, like “no, y'know what? I want a proper courting, the *human* way," and now mbj has to scramble to figure out how humans actually court, and attempt to woo his pathetic man in all the most cheesy ways possible (he ofc consults sqq who pulls shenaniganery against airplane just bc ;)

okay but imagine Shang Qinghua never coming out in his first life

And after getting together, Mobei Jun discovers this little flag that Shang Qinghua seems to draw when he uses colored inks

And Mobei Jun asks about it , and Shang Qinghua explains that in his previous life (Mobei Jun knows) there was a word for part of his identity, and he never really got to celebrate it the way other people did

So Mobei Jun commissions the flag (it’s slightly off but) and Shang Qinghua breaks down in tears of joy and Mobei Jun also has a surprise set of robes in the colors too

And though almost no one else in this world understands, Shang Qinghua celebrates his first pride
