Genos had been walking home holding a bag of groceries. The mehcanical arms that were revealed with his torn sleeves of his jacket, which was really just a vest with a popped collar by that point, had no problem carrying the weight of the bags. Even though recently their capacity had been limited. Genos might have been a little bit overstuffed at the moment but there had been a sale and he did not want to miss out on any potential deals.
He would cling onto them tight for Sensei’s sake. At least that was what he thought, until he saw a thief run by him and an annoyed looking citizen trying to chase after him. He could tell it was a thief because he was holding a wallet to his chest, and also the person chasing after him kept shouting variants of thief.
Genos really did just want to go home with his groceries intact, but he could not resist the call. He dropped the grocery bags hoping the eggs would not splatter, and then walked over to a nearby cart. His pistons chugged as he lifted the cart above his head, and threw it in the direction of the thief. The cart flew over the pursuer’s head and then crashed onto the thief, causing him to drop the wallet, but also an explosion of fruit to sound in every direction. Genos watched a watermelon roll by his feet.
“Well, I guess that takes care of it.”
