Rescue Me

Francis had somehow managed to score three hours of sleep before his mind forced him awake and refused to stop running. He couldn’t get the night out of his head or the fact that he may have run Braxton away for good. The relationship between them had always been complicated, but now it was at a level that Francis thought he had genuine feelings about the bastard. Braxton may hate him forever, but he couldn’t let this ting sit between them. Rubbing his face he got up and made his way down the hall to the bedroom. Knocking a couple times he took a deep breath and walked in “Look, I know I’m the last person you want to see right-” he was shocked to see the place empty. For a second his stomach dropped out completely as he thought Braxton took off to avoid him.
It’s only when he sees that the man’s jacket is sitting on the chair beside the bed that he knows that’s not the case. The house could be burning to the ground and Braxton would grab it before leaving. Something was wrong and that pit in his stomach was now filling with dread. He dashed off to the guest room and went in “Don!” he said, but stopped when he noticed the room was just as empty. His mind couldn’t keep up and make any sense of what was going on. He’s a second away from a panic attack when he spots the torn piece of fabric lying on the floor. Bending down he picks it up and notices it’s a piece of Braxton’s shirt from earlier. That beast had torn it off in the struggle. His eyes went wide at the shock of it all. It had come back and taken Braxton and Donovan. Stolen them in the night and Francis had slept through it like a fucking useless log. His dread turned to anger and he quickly got dressed. Reloading his shotgun he took a few .45′s with him and hopped in his truck. That monster was going to die tonight.
“Hold on Brax, I’m coming”
Matthew comes back to the world slowly. Eyes blinking rapidly and looking around at the harsh lights that sit over him. He makes a point to move, but the second he does he hisses “Wouldn’t be so fast there” Donovan smiles as he’s loading bullets into a shot gun “that’s real silver that’s bounding you. Hurts like a bitch to people like us” He’s breathing heavy and his mind is a fog, but that smell is everywhere “What am I doing here?” he asked and turned to see....someone, someone that looked familiar sitting next to him also bound, but still knocked out.
“Who is he?”
“A friend” and the way he says it Matthew knows he’s a lot more than that “You’re that wolf from earlier. The one that attacked us” Donovan puts the last of the rounds into the weapon and goes to sit across from Matthew. Placing a foot right between the other’s legs “He should have just let me have you and this could have been avoided” he spoke “but no, he had to play big bad alpha and now look at you” He took a whiff “You smell like him, it’s disgusting”
Matthew narrowed his eyes “Because I’m his” and with that Donovan laughed “You won’t be for long, not after I cut his head off and make you a free wolf to claim once more” Matthew struggles again, but his skin burns at the contact of steel “Let me go!” his eyes flare gold and Donovan goes face to face “I will, when I kill him and that bastard he has growing inside you”
Matthew is thrown into confusion “What the hell are you talking about?” a harsh laugh and Donovan throws his head back “He didn’t warn you? Oh, this will be good” Then turning back towards the table he finishes his work for when Robert and Francis arrive.
