unpopular opinion: sometimes you need to be a hater to voice what you truly feel.
but, something to keep in mind: never take your anger out on others, hurting others is not going to help you feel better, even if it's well-deserved and long overdue. it's not always as satisfying as you thought it'd be.
also, know that it's never okay to bottle your emotions, even if you're doing it to protect the people you love. not only is it unhealthy, but it can hurt you, and those you care about in the long run.
it's okay to express yourself, it's okay to feel, it's okay to have emotions, it's okay to CRY. you just need to know when and who you can do it around, because if there's one thing those "edgy" and "stoic" characters have right, it's that crying and emotions(certain ones) are a sign of weakness. and if you cry around the wrong people, they can use that to HURT YOU.
it's okay to have friends, it's okay to let your walls down, because if you never let your walls down. you may hurt someone you care about most.
love yourself, you deserve to be loved, everyone does. but not everyone deserves a second chance.
trust is not bought, it's earned.
you're beautiful/handsome, never let anyone tell you otherwise.
today might not be the best, but better days will come eventually. it may be days, it may be weeks, months even, but brighter days are inevitable.
