She holds her breath for a bit after asking the question. It felt a tad weird to ask given that the only instances of them fighting had been on less....friendlier terms comparatively. With a gentle exhale, she continues:

The light seraph leaned against a pillar. He’d fast grown used to her company. Treating Maotelus like family was good enough for him to trust her. A friendly face from his time must do the elder seraph lord a world of good.

If she was willing he’d show her Elysia and the ruins by his home. However, he wasn’t sure if the seraphim would be welcoming if they knew what she was. They reluctantly accepted Alisha’s presence, but she held reverence for the seraphim and a strength and purity of heart. Velvet was different. He felt as much on their first meeting.

He hoped she didn’t mind his question. Sometimes it was hard to talk about one’s home. He wanted to know more about the past if she was willing to share it.
