The Brick Trolls, From Bloodborne. Day 28 of #breakfastbestiary . Clearly inspired by some early horror novels like Frankenstein or Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde, these monstrous forms of the beast scourge roam Yharnam looking to smash your face in. I drew the hunter in the background though, because when I fought these enemies, I always felt like the predator, and not the prey. 27 of #breakfastbestiary , the Mad Ones. Hemwick Charnel Lane is one of my favorite parts, and these guys burst out of the ground there. Home to witches and other evil creatures, they are summoned and animated with what seems to be blood, or mud, or some kind of muck. Bloodborne’s insight system is one of the best gaming has ever seen as well, and you literally can’t see some of these enemies unless you have enough insight... it’s brilliant. #bloodborne #playstation #fromsoftware #macabre #horror (at Albuquerque, New Mexico)
Day 24 of #breakfastbestiary The (Minor) Taurus Demon. Generally the first boss encountered in Dark Souls, this horned-boss also became a normal enemy in the late-game.
