Sharing my early morning routine.. Breakfast and the good old FM radio. Today's quick-easy Breakfast fix - Pesaruttu Dosa. Pesaruttu is one the most favourite breakfast dishes from Andra Pradesh, more on its history later maybe. Traditional pesarattu has chopped onion, green chilli and coriander leaves as toppings but I find it more convenient to add it to batter, also I use shallots instead of onions as they have more flavour and also packed with remarkable nutritional qualities. You can replace the rice with rice flour, replace moong dal with besan, jowar, ragi upto you. Addition of the rice, gives a nice crispy texture, you can also skip rice all together. Serve it with chutney, sambar, last nights chicken curry as per your liking.
