What’s your ideal writing setup?

Okay, I’m a basic bitch. If I’m on my iPad, split screen: google docs on one side, dictionary or relevant wiki page open on the other. Yes, I know, I still use a dictionary lmao. If I’m on my phone, just a google doc open. It does annoy me a bit having to constantly flick into a browser to search for stuff, but I do a lot of writing on my phone so eh, I’m used to it. And as always, music playing in the background. Clean and simple!

Aaaargh it's so hard to choose! Yours were the first FFXV fics I found after I finished the game so I enjoy ALL of them. I go back to Evoker a lot because it's just so good (the Leviathan fic!!!). Same for Prometheus.

Still such an honour that my fics were among the first you read :D I got a real soft spot for the Evoker series too, I think I’ve still got a WIP for another Ramuh summoning sitting in the pile 🤔

Just been thinking and reading - I read lots of MacGyver fics where Mac (being Mac) protests about being treated in medical and the Doc threatens that if he tries to leave they will put him in restraints. Mac usually backs down and gets back into bed - I’d love to see his team’s reaction if he didn’t back down and the Doc has to follow through on the threat.

Musings:

Would they actually follow through on the threat?

What would cause Mac to argue? Fear? Anxiety? Just plain stubbornness? (I’m assuming he’s got a clear ish head!)

How shocked would Mac be if they actually did restrain him? (and more to the point, would the restraints hold him anyway!)

Honestly mine isn’t neat in the slightest xD I just scribble a title on top, pop the page number in the index and go to town! x3;;;

Luckily I bought a notebook that came pre-page numbered which was amazing 😍 (Agenzio brand at Paperchase if anyone’s curious). I watched a YT vid with what to do for basic set up and the rest was golden! :D

*hugs* While I wish you were a KH fan, I also know exactly how this feels. Do you find your BIGGEST OBSESSIONS come out of nowhere too? Like I somehow avoided all the FFXV build up, played it 8 months after release and here I am STILL NEEDING MY CHOCOBROS.

honestly I played most of kh1 but I trailed off so hard afterwards and just can’t find myself caring OTL;; with FF15 I saw the omen trailer a couple of months before release and I was climbing the walls waiting for the game to come out!

honestly I can get won over with very specific tropes most of the time. I just haven’t been interesting in anything much lately so idk what’s gonna jump out at me...

the two I got were from ness, at £75 each. really high quality and they dropped in price not long after (d’oh) but still SO worth it. twas an extragavance but I couldn’t resist x3
