Media, which is plural for medium has undergone greater than a sea change over recent few months. Not only news media bit entertainment media has also been affected. What we now can gauge is benefits to the media houses or investors, as well as value for time to the viewers or subscribers. In the recent years due to communication revolution along with the IT revolution, growth of media industry has gained momentum, leaving behind all past records. In the recent years it also came to light that what is fake media or fake news as term tosses by the POTUS Trump. This has also made media industry players to revise their strategy. This has also strengthened competition as now media credibility is at stake which has given new option to media houses to follow the path of Veracity as now the mass is also looking for genuine players in the market who also care for public good and are not always after paid news for money. In the recent days we have also witnessed a new type of media segment known to be news media portals like http://vov.media and the likes of Huffington Post, vice etc. which was, than this, never before. And never before we could come across the terms like breaking news. Never before there were Italian terms like paparazzi getting more popular at a higher pace. Now, this stage can be crucially decisive. This is the time of symmetry formation for news media as while paid news could possibly be distinguished with veracious news. This gas opened profitable avenues for those media houses which would like to tap on the benefits of anti fake news or anti fake media as this is what the mass is seeking now. Now on the part of the mass or the people the future seems to be more promising. Associations such as ICIJ or International Consortium of Investigative Journalists and others are coming to the fore who are mostly based on exposing what conventional media used to conceal. Several activists have become bloggers who are exposing what was obscured hence people are going to get better of everything and with this better and right knowledge they will now be able to prepare themselves for a better life with better development. Similarly, in the entertainment media segment as well more and more people are coming up as they have now become familiar with the benefits that modern Media and communication system has to offer. Entertainment media companies like Netflix are expanding, entertainment stuff is being circulated more rapidly. People and businesses which were traditional are now gaining sophistication with information revolution and resorting to latest technologies and trends. Besides, online presence of businesses and with expertise in Internet communications and knowledge of it easily available in the Internet itself like digital libraries, independent portals as www.rideonluck.com, Google books, and specialised groups and so on and so forth has made media business a cup of tea of an ordinary individual and so many popular bloggers have also cropped up including film critics or movie critics. Thus, we see that all the parties concerned with media sector are getting a higher degree of what they deserve while the corrupt and incompetent have to refine their strategy to gain benefits, which would necessarily make them improve themselves leading to human development.

Las Vegas shooter’s girlfriend: "he would lie in bed moaning and screaming".

Marilou Danley, the girlfriend of Las Vegas shooter Stephen Paddock, said the 64-year-old showed “mental health symptoms” that included screaming in bed, according to two former FBI officials.

Danley, who was in the Philippines when Paddock gunned down 58 people at a country music festival from the 32nd floor of a Vegas hotel room, returned to the U.S. on Tuesday and issued a statement saying it never occurred to her that he was “planning violence against anyone.”

One source who was briefed on the matter told NBC, “She said he would lie in bed, just moaning and screaming, ‘Oh my God.’”

Four days after the meticulously planned mass shooting, Paddock’s motives remain unclear.

Despite Danley’s statements, the FBI does not believe the gunman’s mental health stands as an all-encompassing explanation for his behavior, NBC reported.

Investigators are now looking into what Paddock was doing inside the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino room where he was barricaded for an hour after he shot a security guard at 10:17 p.m. on Saturday, 12 minutes after the first shots rang out.

Paddock was found dead inside the room by the time a SWAT team breached the hotel door with an explosive at 11:20 p.m.

Investigators are also hoping the media devices Paddock had in the room may reveal some insight into his motives, one of the former FBI officials told NBC.

Paddock booked rooms overlooking the Lollapalooza festival in Chicago in August and the Life Is Beautiful show near the Vegas Strip in late September, according to authorities reconstructing his movements before he undertook the deadliest mass shooting in modern U.S. history.

It remains unclear whether Paddock had been contemplating massacres at those sites, although authorities are looking into the possibility he planned additional attacks, including a car bombing.

Paddock had 1,600 rounds of ammunition in his car, along with fertilizer that can be used to make explosives and 50 pounds of Tannerite, a substance used in explosive rifle targets.

He also had an arsenal of 23 weapons in his hotel room, a dozen of which were fitted with “bump stocks,” or attachments that can effectively convert semi-automatic rifles into fully automated weapons.

Investigators uncovered at least 24 other firearms in two of Paddock’s homes.

On Thursday, Las Vegas police announced they had found a Hyundai Tucson they had been searching for at the home in Reno that Paddock shared with Danley.

Salman Sayyed - My Hero

When first arrived in Mumbai, I had the great priviledge of working volunteering with The Akanksha Foundation.  Along with working with their amazing team, I was recommended to do a city tour with one of the Akanksha graduates, Salman Sayyed.  He has a blog named:   My Journey, My Dreams.

He recently relocated to Houston, TX for the CCI (Community College Initiative).  He had many odds against him and his oncoming successes.  Before starting the after school program at the Akanksha Foundation, he sold books at various intersections, lost a cousin and his brother at a young age.  Despite this, his unbreakable will has lead him thousands of miles away to his dream of living in the United States of America and advancing his education.  

Shortly after arriving, he is met with a natural disaster, Hurricane Harvey.  Again, being grateful for the rain and making the best of the situation, he posted this last blog post.  

Salman dreams of returning to Mumbai to start his own touring company.  With the resources he has and the knowledge he presents to tourists, I have no doubt he will be a huge success.  His tours range from Mumbai city tours to the Dharavi Slums.  

Salman, you are a reminder to the world to not give up on your dreams and there is not one single thing in life to be ungrateful for.  

Thank you, Salman, for being the inspiration and light the world needs.

11 Year Black Police Veteran- Get's Shot By Officer's He Was Trying To Help

11 Year Black Police vet, Get’s Shot Trying Help Out

  38 year old black officer that was off duty heard some commotion  going on outside in a neighborhood that he lives in and decided to try to go outside and assist some of his fellow officers in a attempt to capture suspects that were fleeing the scene after a high speed chase. The Black officer did go outside with his service weapon and was immediately told to get on the ground in which he complied. After some of the officers recognized him as being a fellow officer, they then directed him to get back up and come towards them.

As the 38 year started to walk towards his colleagues another officer, responding to the call noticed a black male with a gun walking toward other officers and began to shoot, Striking his fellow officer in the arm.  The off duty black officer was taken to the hospital were he is expected to make a full recovery from  his injuries.

The other officer responsible for firing the shot, has been placed on administrative leave, pending an investigation into the shooting.
