jesse meets mike in the season 2 finale, when he helps clean up after jane's death. he doesn't see him again until 3x12, when mike knocks on his car window and says to come with him.

imagine how he felt at that moment. he doesn't know mike is gus's guy, as far as i remember. a specter from jane's death just appears in front of him with no explanation.
