He doesn't like the big bug

You know, I've actually done more art after my tablet broke than I did with it... Funny. This is an actual plastic mantis I found in front of my car yesterday.

I've been drawing on paper all day lol.

Here's a doodle I did while procrastinating on an assignment. I wasn't going to post it but seeing as I won't be able to work on my wips until friday I don't see any reason not to.

BISHOP BREAR!!! I'm insanely proud of this one, I almost can't believe I made it. Almost 1 for 1 from my brain to the paper, it's so cool!

Serious spoilers for my au under the cut, like half of this isn't for another 3 chapters

AAAH! Ok, I get to talk about this now! So in the story I'm playing around with the idea that Brear gets the yellow crown after helping the lamb kill Heket and having to adjust to it's power and fight off threats and whatnot. One idea that I could make into a branching timeline like deal (The main story will have a good ending... Probably) where in one timeline he fails to save everyone and goes insane, pictured above.

I also had the idea that the bag around his neck has Heket's heart in it as a reminder of his victory or something, that or his mom's remains if we want to go fully off the deep end of insanity. That second one would be interesting from a character standpoint, like he's so far gone but still clinging to his past in a way, but it doesn't really work from a story standpoint since Heket either ate her or she was buried but at that point she'd have decomposed so ¯\_(:|)_/¯

Also Thorna is his vessel of choice :) What does that entail? IDK YET! I just know it can't be good lol. I'm gonna make some more art of crown Brear, considerably less deranged though.

The concept of bishop Brear has consumed my brain. I gotta get back to writing but I have like 5 comic/drawing ideas going on all at once and I'm at a weird place in the story where I still have to figure out how I want to continue it.

Side note: The cult in my fic is completely surrounded by STEEP cliffs so that's what's going on here, he's just resting his head on the ledge :)

Side side note: Narinder hates Brear so much lmao. If you ask me he's just jealous of his awesome new powers. He'll warm up to him... Maybe

He's so silly! The poor pumpkin though, it didn't deserve that :( At least nothing else of value was lost

The scaling is all over the place but it doesn't really matter, I'm just happy to have a finished version of this. That family guy death pose gave me some troubles, I never realized how awkward it is.

This doesn't really make sense without context does it... maybe read my thing...

I still really like this version, it's so derpy and charming. I can't help but smile every time I look at it
