Are markings working correctly?
Because to me it looks like there might be problems.

To explain what I’ve found poking around with breeding. Basically, it looks like something is borked and while you can get a bunch of repeats of the same marking, I haven’t been able to make any pets with more than two different markings. Has anyone?
Layering is also not random like I was expecting. I’ve not mentioned that on the thread, but the marking/s of the Sun pet always sit above the markings of the Moon pet.
I think one thread already picked up that the dimorphic/eye colours pick up from the body-base range of colours. And that not applying the dimorphic to the baby means that you can’t even see what colour it’s carrying for it.
Basically I hope this is one of the next things we focus of because breeding needs to be fixed. ^^
