In necessary disruption, art emerges. Art is the mirror that reveals humanity. It is the critical thinkers, the poets, the great debaters, the photographers, the painters, the soul singers, problem solvers, the creatives-- who narrate the change we must be brave enough to face. Thanks WhatWeekly for publishing my experience working in the arts and engaging community last year. I learned a great deal from Sheila Pree Bright, Devin Allen, Barbara Paca and JC Faulk.
