What soundfont are you using for every midi post? It kinda sounds like a better version of the default Microsoft GS wave synth.
The soundfont I use the most is Scc1t2.sf2. It’s a reproduction of sounds from a Roland SCC-1 sound card.

Do you know what's going on with doomworld lately? It might be a problem with the site's database thingy.
This is the first I've heard of anything wrong with Doomworld.
