welcome to the first annual official breldonjam!
this is a week for writing fanfiction dedicated to our favorite ship involving brad and sheldon from hit series mlaatr. i was hoping we could have a period to generate some hype in our small community again!
the event will start april 2nd and end april 8th. we chose the 8th specifically because that was the month and day of the oldest breldon fic i could find online! the end of this event will be the 15 year anniversary of that fic
and now for some more info:
"how will event work?" when april 2nd starts in your timezone, that's your cue to get going! you're allowed to brainstorm ideas before then, but ideally you'd only start writing on april 2nd. you would also post the finished product on or before the 8th!
"what if i start early? / what if i finish late?" that's fine too! the whole point of this event is to have more breldon. i'm not going to get mad if you have to work on a different schedule. at the end of the day i just wanted an excuse to post more breldon
"is there a minimum/maximum word count?" nope! this can be as short or as long as you want. go nuts! breldon is breldon!
"does it have to be serious?" also nope! write something goofy! feel free to even write some off-the-walls crackfic! again, breldon is breldon. i do not care what you hand me
"where can i find all breldonjam fics?" i'll be adding them to the fic masterlist of course, but i'll also make a separate post for breldonjam fics specifically!
"where should i post my fic?" anywhere! i'll specifically be making an ao3 collection for breldonjam, but the fic itself can be hosted wherever. if you don't plan on posting it to ao3, either dm/inbox me your fic's link, or tag me in a post you make about it!
i hope to see some breldoning out this april!~
