It's my last Disney cookie. Once I eat it, vacation really is completely, officially over. I mean, technically I got home 9 days ago. But it will be OVER, there will be nothing left to look forward to related to it, once I eat this cookie.
I ate the other one the same flavor on our way back, and it was AMAZING. So I do really want to eat this. But it's my last one, and I really DON'T want to eat it yet because of that. 😭
OKAY! So, SIL and family aren't going to go to disney with us, but they are going to go to universal on the same days, so we'll get our transportation to orlando that way! AND! BIL wants to leave here at like FIVE AM which is PERFECT because I'd assumed they'd want to leave here later, because they'll need time to get Nephew up and fed and dressed and stuff and I WANT to leave around 5, or 7 at the latest. We're going to pay for gas ofc, which I mean... they drive a freaking tank, so gas is going to be a LOT, but it's still cheaper than flights. Even if we cover all or some of one of their days in orlando (which we might do, because they're going a day earlier than they'd prefer just because we need the ride, so it's an expense they wouldn't normally have) it'll still be cheaper than the flights we would have had to take otherwise.
I'm still sad they won't be at disney with us, which means I can't bully them into letting Nephew building a saber, but we'll still see them on the way down and back. I'll figure out something to get him for a gift while we're all down there, since he gets me a pin every time they take him to disney. Which has been all of three times, but with how little he is that's a lot. I didn't get to go to disney ever until my 23rd birthday. It's not bad on him/them. I'm just jealous.
But hey! My magic bands for the trip are out for delivery today! Can't use them until we go, ofc, but hey! it's a step! One that I'm very nervous about! because our reservations (plural) are so weird! but we'll figure it out!
On the tv in our room when we got here (had to scratch out our first names).
Woooooo!!!!
They let us redeem our 16 year old rain check for the sold out Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party for tomorrow!!!!!
This means we'll actually have time on the trip to do Animal Kingdom as well as the other parks, because we'll have the closed-event night time party to visit Magic Kingdom instead of spending a regular day there!
I wonder if I should lightning lane the safari for Friday? I know we won't make rope drop, but if we get there comparatively early we shouldn't have to wait long... Right?
July: book hotel and parks ✅
August: order magic bands for hotel and parks ✅
September: book flights (probably flights, but possibly a ride with SIL if she goes to Orlando in December too)
October: book Savi's Workshop for my MOTHER FUCKING LIGHTSABER
November: idk, eat turkey? Maybe book a restaurant reservation or two for the park, idk
December: FUCKING DISNEY!
